“For the last few years, I’ve been photographing the everyday journeys of the homeless and immigrants, capturing their hardships, struggles, resilience and hope to advocate for a cause, hopefully bringing dignity and awareness to those around us. Because of this, I’ve turned some of those images into products that you can buy and directly support two organizations that I am working with that are on the front lines trying to bring some piece of normality to the homeless community. I’ve doubled down here in my home state of California where we’ve seen an epidemic of homelessness increasing by the thousands every year. Recently, legislation such as those signed into law by Governor Newsom that allow law enforcement to remove unsafe encampments and provide temporary housing is a step forward. But that alone can’t be the answer. My organizations are on the front lines every day with the suffering. With purchase, it’s about an engagement to help others in real and tangible ways and becoming part of the movement to change and assist in a more real way. Thank you!”
